Thames Bridges Trek for Parkinson’s UK

TODAY is World Parkinson’s Day 2018 and we would like to take this opportunity to announce that on the 8th September this year as part of “Team Derry“, we will be taking on the Thames Bridges Trek Challenge to raise money for Parkinson’s UK. The team is named after our stepfather, Derek who has been living with Parkinson’s disease for over 6 years. We are proud of Derek and we are immensely grateful to all the people that work hard for the NHS and for Parkinson’s UK. THE CHALLENGE: The Thames Bridges Trek involves 16 bridges over 25Km, not a walk in the park so we are looking forward to the challenge whilst also a little bit nervous ! If you would like to cheer us on it would be great to see you, the bridges are in order:

Dragonfly Rhythms will be out on the streets the weekend after the big day to share stories about our adventures across our capital city and to fill the air with some acoustic music. If you can’t make it to one of the bridges, come along to the Time Ring at Andover Farmer’s Market to join in with the fun:
